STRATEGIC AIMES

Strategically, and according to the strategic plan 2003-2008, AMOPROC, intends to increase and to establish a system of Good Government in Mozambique facing the active Participation of the Civil Society, taking in consideration the gender, that integrates of among several issues, the following results:

• To assure public participation, participative democracy and the actual decentralization system;
• Awareness of the civil society for them to respect their rights and duties consecrated in the constitution of the republic and other similar status;
• To develop actions to promote larger political, economical and cultural balances among citizens;
• To increase larger transparency and responsibility in the holders of power of decision in order to guarantee the decrease of the corruption and the leaders' larger efficiency;
• To assure that every Mozambican citizen has access to justice, same rights and participate in the actual democratic process.

AMOPROC assumes new and enormous challenges, whose fundamental pillar is based on the creation of a new platform and vision inside civil society, as an open space and multicultural where it will unchain the implementation of the programs and the continuous improvement of the activities on the following intervention areas:

• To reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS;
• To contribute and to impel for the respect to the human rights and access the justice;
• To assure and to preserve the autarkical and presidential government;
• To reduce the corruption;

AMOPROC uses participative tools and social lawyers in the mentioned intervention areas quoted above, in such a way to minimize, to improve and to stanch, molding and reinforcing the citizen or the civil society with the following programs:

1. Training, formation and institutional support for the civil society;
2. Sensibilization, understanding and education of citizens;
3. To establish communication nets and information for the civil society in Mozambique for the World;
4. Services rendered of solemnity-sustainability;
5. Institutional invigoration and financial organizational.
